Hyphy - (pronounced HI-fee) is a style of music and dance primarily associated with the Bay Area hip hop culture. Rappers like Keak Da Sneak, Mac Dre, The Pack, YuckMouth, and alot of others use Hyphy. Hyphy is also a feeling like being antsy and ready to rock'em and Sock'em baby. I get Hyphy when im rapeing on halo to, blaring either Techno, which gets me Hyphy, or Hyphy Rap.

Hyphy is a New term which was brought up in 2000 and has Progressed into alot of rap, and other things. Hyphy is distinguished by Cathy, pounding rhythms, and in this sense can be associated with the San Francisco Bay Area as Krunk music is in the South. An individual is said to "get hyphy" when they act or dance in an overstated and ridiculous manner. Hyphy is good for people who can't dance, because it is baskily and Excuse for not being about to dance.
